Julien Bidot, PhD

 Research Interests

I had been postdoc researcher in the Cognitive Robotic Systems Lab at AASS from September 2011 to October 2015.

My research focuses on automated planning, scheduling, path planning, and reasoning under uncertainty. I am interested in modeling and solving real-world problems in logistics, manufacturing, robotics, and ambient intelligence.
In particular, designing scheduling and planning domains, generating automatically complex plans, and executing them in real environments constitute my core research activities.

I had worked on the EU project MOnarCH from July 2014 to October 2015.
Before MOnarCH, I had been involved in the Swedish project SAUNA for 14 months.
I had been contributing ideas and code to the EU project GeRT for 18 months before SAUNA.
Before GeRT, I had worked at the University of Ulm in Germany, and had been participating for three years in ATRACO, an EU project.
