Towards Environmentally Monitoring in Outdoor Environments with Mobile Robots
This work was done by M. Trincavelli and M. Reggente together with A. Lilienthal and H. Ishida. Here we are creating gas maps presented by Lilienthal and Duckett(see Lilienthal's web) while collecting information from gas maps to create both a concentration map with an overlay of wind information.
Here is an example of a final map with the vectors overlayed. Red vectors indicate a stronger wind magnitude.
