I am a PostDoc in Computer Science at the AASS Research Center, School of Science and Technology, Örebro University, Sweden. I received my Ph.D. in Information Technology in Örebro in 2013. The thesis focused on how to measure the quality of interaction in communication mediated by mobile robotic telepresence systems. I also received my M.Sc. in Media Technology and Engineering from Linköping University, Sweden in 2005. My research interests span human computer interaction (HCI), human machine interaction (HMI) and human robot interaction (HRI). More specifically, I am interested in:
- human-robot interaction and social robotic telepresence
- Smart homes
- How ICT can be developed to support independent living for an ageing population.

1980 - I was born in Örebro, Sweden. 2005 - I received a M.Sc degree in Media Technology and Engineering (Civilingenjörsexamen i Medieteknik) from the Linköpings Tekniska Högskola. 2006 - I worked with 1st line technical support at an ISP, mainly with different kinds of broadbandconnections and VoIP. 2008 - I worked as a production planner at a Telecommunicationcompany called Pluspeople. 2008 - I gave birth to a son and married Peter. 2009 - I began my Ph.D. Studies at Örebro University, Sweden. 2013 - I received my Ph.D. degree in Information Technology. 2017 - I gave birth to a daughter.
